FindAtlasLicense Terms
Trial
FindAtlas includes a 3-day free trial per device. The trial starts when you choose “Start Free Trial” in the app and is tracked by a random device identifier. Reinstalling the app does not create a new trial on the same device.
License
- A FindAtlas license is a one-time purchase of $39 USD.
- One license activates on one Mac. Support can reset the bound device if you replace your computer.
- The license includes use of the current app and updates we publish for it.
- Licenses are personal and may not be resold, shared or used to activate multiple Macs beyond the licensed device count.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles card processing, taxes and invoices. Refund requests are handled according to Paddle’s policies and applicable consumer law.
Your data
FindAtlas indexes files locally. You are responsible for the files you choose to index and for keeping backups. The optional encrypted vault uses a password that we do not know and cannot recover. See our Privacy Policy.
No warranty
FindAtlas is provided “as is”. We work hard to make indexing reliable, but we do not warrant that every file format, database or system configuration will be indexed perfectly, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Acceptable use
Do not use FindAtlas to access files you are not authorized to access, to bypass system security, or to violate applicable law.
